What is Interact...
Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young people ages 14-18. The
program gives young people an opportunity to participate in fun, meaningful service
projects while developing leadership skills and meeting new friends.

Through service activities, Interactors learn the importance of:

- Developing leadership skills and personal integrity
- Demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others
- Advancing international understanding and goodwill

The Oberlin High School Interact Club Advisor is Rotarian Donna Shurr.

The Interact club raised money to fund the construction of homes in Jamaica for low-income families. The homes will be built in 2008 by

In February 2008, the OHS Interact Club
concluded a 4-year effort to raise $3100 to fund a
house to be built in Jamaica for a needy family.
This project is being undertaken by students from
Defiance
College.
